Bertram Yachts
started their sports fishing quest in Miami Florida in 1960, and
the first model made of fiberglass rolled out in 1961. Since 1998, Ferretti
S.p.A., a leader in motoryacht manufacturing, has owned Bertram. Their combined
technologies and processes create new luxury yachts for pleasure and sport
fishing. Bertram models range from 41 feet, 8 inches to 71 feet, 6 inches in
length. Composite construction is employed in convertible production, and each
Bertram hull design is based on the Deep-V. Bertram's exclusive structural
closed cell foam Stringers produces hull structure strength redundancy. Each
model is designed to meet the strict requirements of RINA, a yacht certification
industry leader.
