Cruisers Yachts
began with a family that already had 60 years of boat building experience. In 1953, the younger generation of the Thompson family (Roy and Grant) launched Cruisers Inc. It is still based in the original area of Oconto, Wisconsin, now with two Oconto plants and a building facility in Wilmington, North Carolina. Cruisers produces yacht models from 28 to 58 feet in length via a 10-step manufacturing process. Practically every yacht is designed to have optional features to suit the yacht customer’s wishes. The National Marine Manufacturers’ Association awarded Cruisers with the Marine Industry CSI Award for "Inboard Express Cruiser Boats" and "Inboard Flybridge Sedan/Convertible Boats," based on ongoing improvement in response to customer satisfaction levels.
