Denison Yachts
are no longer made, but the generational familiarity with Denisons still thrives today. Denison Marine opened for business in 1983, started by Kit Denison, who already had successful years of yacht building experience. Kit’s son, Bob, spent years learning about the yachting industry while growing up at Denison Marine. Denison Marine gained fame for the most motor yachts built in the range of 30 knots and over, with a size greater than 100 feet. These yachts used aluminum material and benefited from original hull designs from Joe Langlois. Drive systems were creatively designed, and Denison yachts pioneered the usage of jet and surface drives in the United States. Quality and sophistication were the signature aspects of Denison yachts, built in Dania, Florida manufacturing facilities.
