Destiny Yachts
were a combination of space, styling, and mechanics, constructed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The lines included a 94-foot model with a penthouse or sky deck, a related 100-foot model, and a 119-foot model with a tri-level suite. Yachts designed by Evan K. Marshall for Destiny focused on highly spacious interiors, and yacht features normally found on larger sized yachts. Destiny chose a two-continent approach to building yachts: the fiberglass semi-displacement hulls and superstructures were constructed in Italy, and in the United States the interiors and mechanical systems were installed. Strength and safety characterized Destiny yachts, built to American Bureau of Shipping standards. Showboats International once awarded Destiny in the category “Best New Semi-Production Yacht.”
