Fairline Yachts
is a major contributor to the yacht manufacturing businesses of Europe. Using a wide dealer network, Fairline produces export sales of 90%. Oundle, England is the location of the three sites that Fairline uses to construct their three ranges of motor yachts, and a test center is located in Ipswich. The yachts range from a 34-foot long express cruiser to a 74-foot long luxury yacht, along with a series of craft designed specifically for long range cruising. Careful attention is paid in every aspect of Fairline’s yacht building. Unusual woods are polished with up to eight coats of lacquers, and the grain of the wood must flow smoothly over the curves. Fairline also incorporates a lengthy hand-laying procedure for GRP, resulting in lightweight and durable hulls.
