Ferretti Yachts
began as two brothers selling other companies’ yachts, then choosing to move on to constructing yachts on their own. Norberto and Alessandro Ferretti started the Italian company in 1968. Today, Ferretti S.p.A. encompasses a number of companies with related yachting specialties and brands. Ferretti constructs yachts at three distinct shipyards in Italy: the original shipyard S. Giovanni in Marignano, the headquarters in Forli, and Cattolica, the most state-of-the-art facility where 16 yachts can be constructed at one time. Ferretti also has a research and design center in Forli, where ideas are originated with the help of the latest computer technologies. Yachts developed under the Ferretti name are from 43 feet to 88 feet in overall length.
