Horizon Yachts
are a product of the Horizon Yacht Company, developed and built in three separate advanced technologies facilities. Horizon yachts have a size range of 51 feet to 120 feet in overall length. The main shipyard, located in Kaoshiung, Taiwan, is both ISO 9002 and Det Norske Veritas compliant, and constructs the Horizon yachts over 66 feet in length. The Horizon Vision yard focuses on development of 51-foot to 66-foot long yachts. Horizon also has a separate SCRIMP facility whose lamination technique stops air pocket formation and leads to fine control of resins; additional hull strength is achieved without sacrificing performance and accumulating increased weight. The engineers at Horizon design yachts to standards of sound deadening, performance, weight distribution, and hydrodynamics.
