SeaRay Yachts
began constructing boats and yachts in 1959 and is one of the initial users of fiberglass and advanced composite materials in boat/yacht building. Sea Ray’s headquarters are located in Knoxville, Tennessee; six manufacturing plants are located in Tennessee and Florida. The Product Development and Engineering facility is in Florida, with state-of-the-art technology such as robotics and CAD/CAM that provides data to control machinery. Sea Ray produces four types of vessels: sport boats, cruisers, sport yachts, and yachts. The sizes of the boat and yacht fleet range from 18 to 68 feet in length. Sea Ray pays great attention to ergonomics, and testing in-water for six weeks. Many awards have been attributed to Sea Ray in the areas of hospitality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
