Challenger Yachts was known for its high standards of construction and was said to be the first builder in the industry to offer an unconditional hull guarantee. One of Challenger Yacht Corporationís first designs was a 35-foot keel. Challenger Yacht Corporationís sailing boat line-up expanded to include a smaller 32-foot as well as a larger 50-foot vessel. All boats were constructed in Wilmington, California, with Challenger Yacht Corporation producing their last sailing vessels in 1982. Some of their sailboats included: Challenger 32/SL, Challenger 35/KE, Challenger 29, Challenger 41/KE and Challenger 50/KE, Challenger Sloop, Challenger Sloop 40. No other information is available on the company, but many Challengers are still sailing today.
