are built tough and strong, known as the “Nord Haven” of sailboats. Some of the strongest materials of the highest quality were used to build Valiant yachts. The company is located in Gordonville, Texas, USA, and boats were built by a dedicated workforce of skilled, committed professionals. Valiant Yachts has been in business since 1986 when Rich Worstell rescued the company after the well-known blister problem that was due to flame retardant in the resins used by Uniflight. Valiants, built by Worstell in Gordonville, have no blister issues. Each Valiant was built by hand, the old fashioned way.
From the hood stainless steel ports to the Lewmar Ocean hatches all of the equipment is of the best quality possible.
As of January, 2011, after months of consideration, Valiant made the decision to no longer produce new Valiant sailboats. Many of the Valiant family, including craftsmen, technicians, and administrators were retained and reassigned to their sister company, Cedar Mills Marina, so that they can continue to support Valiant Yachts and their owners.
