    We cannot list your Yacht for you or modify your listing. You must use "Member Login" at the top of the page to add or change listings. If you still need help feel free to Contact Us by clicking on the link after the question nearest to your needs.




    How do I list my Yacht?

    There is a link on the top of our homepage that says "List Your Yacht". Click on this link to begin the process. You must first register with us before you can add any listings. The page will provide a link to allow you to register. Follow the instructions for registration before attempting to list a yacht. Once you have registed, log in to see your listing and account information. Fill in the listing form with your yacht information and press the "Add New" button. This will result in your listing being added immediately. Extra details can be added by clicking the "Details" and/or "Photos" links.

    Can I put my webpage/link on my listing?

    At this point we are not sure how we are going to handle direct links to owners/brokers web sites. It would be impossible to evaluate our services if buyers did not contact you through our service. It is currently under evaluation. We currently do not display links or email addresses on any listings.

    Will you list my yacht for me?

    Unfortunately we cannot. For us to do this we would have to choose a password for you and also know every detail about your yacht. In order to list a yacht you have to personally register and personally list it online through our website.

    Modification of Listings

    This is one of the best features of our site. You have full access to your listings 24 hours a day. You can modify any portion of your listing at any time, including the pictures. To make changes simply click on "Members Login", enter your Email Address and Password in the boxes and click the "Login" button. To change the vital details of your listing click the "Edit" link next to the listing you wish to change. To change optional details, click the "Details" link next to the appropriate listing. To add or change the photos on your listing click the "Photos" link next to the desired listing. If you wish to change your contact information click the "Change Contact Information" link located under the "Actions" heading. Contact information is applied to every one of your listings. Any changes are reflected in all listings (after a refresh). If you missed any inquiries as a result of an email change, dont worry, we save all inquires and you can view them all on line by simply clicking on the inquires link next to the listing you want to see. You need to make any and all modifications to your listings and your contact information. We do not modify owners information.
    NOTE: When modifying your listing, changes will be lost unless you save your data by clicking the "Submit your data" button at the bottom of the page.

    Is there a referral program?

    At this time we do not have a discount for referrals, however you will find our prices are very competitive.

    Is there a direct URL for my listings or do I have to navigate there every time?

    Yes, there is a direct link to each Yacht you list. You are more than welcome to access your listings directly by your listing id number. To easily find the id of each of your listings, go to "Members Login" and type your Email Address and Password into the boxes provided. If you forget your username or password, you may obtain it by clicking the "Forgot my password" link on that page. The listing id number is the first column of the yachts list.

    The URL for your listing will be
    www.yachts.com/listings/YourIdNumber.html

    make sure to put your id number in place of YourIdNumber in the above URL.

    For example, if one of your yacht listings is listing id #920, the URL to your listing would be:
    www.yachts.com/listings/920.html

    Your id number will never change and you do not need to navigate to get there. Try putting it in the address box of your browser to see that listing. Feel free to use the URL any way you wish.

    Passwords

    If you forget your password, you may obtain it by selecting the "Members Login" link on the top of our home page  and clicking the "I forgot my password" link. Your information will then be mailed to your email address, assuming you have previously registered with us, and the email address you enter is the same one you registered with.

    My listing was disabled - Why?

    We have guidelines set up for our listings that are intended to protect our owners and visitors. We often attempt to change listings that break these guidelines, but sometimes they are so far outside the guidelines we have to disable them.

    Photos

    If you would like photos posted with your listing, simply login via "Members Login" and click on the Photos link for the appropriate listing. You can select the photos from your local computer you wish to upload and store with your listing. You can change the photos any time you wish, as often as you wish. If you are having difficulty uploading photos, please read this Info On Photos.

    Bounced Emails (that come back undelivered)

    Buyers: If a message is returned to you undeliverable, please forward a copy of the message to yachts@iventure.com so we can assist you in contacting the owner/broker.

    Owner/Brokers If a message is returned to you undelivered, we cannot provide you with the correct address to contact the person who sent the inquiry. Form based inquiries must ask the sender to enter an email address. There is no way to verify the validity of this address before sending the inquiry. It is up to the sender to ensure the email address provided exists and is typed in correctly. About 1 in 10,000 inquiries are undeliverable due to spelling errors in the email address. Once in a while it is possible to guess the address by checking for common misspellings in the address (ex. Yahoo.con). Yachts.com cannot locate the correct address for undeliverable email address provided by prospective renters.
