This is truly a remarkable example of what can be built in NC. The last boat started by Steve Gwaltney, Houdini was finished by some of the best craftsman in the state. The over attention to detail thoughout make this a very special boat. The initial construction included the addition of an extra layer of fiberglass to account for the additional speed. The forefoot was extended slightly to improve ride. There is a very high level fit and finish on the interior, including a "figured or curly" cherry wood hand picked from the Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania. The fairing on the exterior was contracted to 2 ex Palmer Johnson employees with "Mega" yacht experience. Even the most recent additions have been performed by John Bayliss’s group adding shaft tubes. She has all the right equipment, low total time and is ready to fish. The owner has already bought his next boat and wants this one to find a new home. Please call for more details.
