Description
This 44’ Aluminum Striker sportfisher was first built in 1971 and custom re-manufactured and re-powered by the current owner and his very skilled shipwrights, during 1999/2000 with additional upgrades in 2003. Owner and guest accommodations provde for four persons in two comfortable staterooms. The bow stateroom has twin Vee Bunks and a toilet built into the bunk cabinetry, on the starboard side there is a hanging locker which is illuminated when opened. Following the forward staterooom, is a port side full head and shower enclosed by a shower curtain, mirrored cabinets and vanity. A portside twin bunk stateroom with an illuminated hanging locker. The starboard side galley features all the necessary amenities. Up steps to the main salon which has a wet bar with ice maker, folding teak coffee table to full table with a blue and white trimmed cushioned "L" shaped bench seat, entertainment center with television and other equipment. The aft deck cockpit is well laid out with a fighting chair, wet sink, freezer, a bait tank, two hatches for the under deck fish holds, side storage boxes and tackle cabinet. The entrance to the engine space is by a cockpit split door with a teak hatch cover. The cockpit is enclosed with an aluminum side and stern rail covered with teak and seam sealed cap rail and side deck. The transom has a stern gate and swim step. The bow deck is large and contains two aluminum deck boxes, three Bowmar deck hatches, Muir vertical winch, and a bow plank enclosed by an aluminum pipe framed bow and side rail. there ar two fender racks mounted to the side rails. The anchor system consists of two plow anchors, one with chain and one with chain and three strand nylon 3/4" lines. Two large Danforth anchors mounted to the bow deck as spare anchors. The aluminum bow plank is 5’ long and enclosed by the bow rail. The flying bridge is accessd by an aluminum and teak ladder large enough for easy access. the fly bridge is fully enclosed with a inyl windowed and canvas cover on an aluminum extended frame. The helm station is an aluminum cabinet which houses the engine controls,hydraulic steering, engine monitors and electical switch panels. There is an overhead aluminum cabinet which contains the electronic units. Flybridge seating around the forward portion of th helm station with storage beneath.
